Trevalgas Farm

Perfect for a large family get together.

One of the advantages of a Georgian house is that the rooms are a good size, generally square and the ceilings are high, giving that feeling of space and light. Trevalgas Farm is no exception.  The grounds and garden are predominantly to the front of the house - ideal as this is south facing with beautiful countryside views.

Two Lounges

The "blue lounge" has a cosy intimate feel with the wood burner and original fireplace. TV, DVD player and BOSE speaker. Whilst the "green lounge" is more the family room, great for watching the large wall mounted smart tv or getting everyone playing board games.  There is even a piano - probably not in tune but still provides a lot of entertainment!  Both lounges over look the gardens.

 Plenty of room for dining

The large kitchen/diner has ample space for everyone dining together and the central island helps makes meal preparations a social event. Equipped with an electric modern range-style cooker, large fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.  The cupboards are packed with all the crockery, pots and pans needed together with iron/ironing board, airers even the children's' play kitchen in the corner!

We supply tea towels, cloths, dustbin liners, clingfilm, tinfoil, washing up liquid and a few dishwasher and laundry tablets to get you going. To help settle you in, you will find milk in the fridge with tea and coffee and a homemade cake.

5 bedrooms

Downstairs:  This quiet bedroom with king size bed is popular with grand parents. Complete with spacious en suite shower room (large shower enclosure).

Upstairs:  4 further bedrooms.  1 King, 1 double and 2 twin bedded rooms.  3 of which have south facing views over the garden and far reaching sea views, the other (twin) is at the back which tends to be popular with children and it's a bit cooler.

3 bathrooms & extra wc

The downstairs bedroom has an en suite shower room.  The other two bathrooms are upstairs: 1 very spacious family bathroom complete with corner shower enclosure & roll top bath with shower attachment & 1 shower room with shower enclosure.  There is an additional downstairs toilet.

 Babies and children

The master bedroom and the double bedroom are both large enough for cots which is why we suggest 2 babies but we would accept an additional 3rd baby in a travel cot - as long you wouldn't mind it being a little more cramped in one of the other rooms.  We also have a baby bath, toilet seat, potty, step, changing mat, wendy house on request.  In the kitchen there is a play kitchen.  The garden in front of the house is enclosed.

Older children will love the dvds, books, lego, duplo and games in the "green lounge" plus a few outdoor bats and balls.  Come and find us if the children would like to meet the donkeys.

Relaxing outdoors

If you like being outdoors then you will love it here!  Choose the enclosed garden in front of the house which is ideal for keeping the dog close at hand or maybe keeping an eye on small children.  It's a bit of a sun trap so you may need to put the parasol up.  If you fancy a game of football or cricket then the lower lawn is the place to be.  Maybe finish up with the evening meal al fresco under the gazebo.

It's a dog's life!

We accept 2 dogs (more by prior arrangement). The charge is £20 per dog. Unfortunately we do not accept dogs under 6 months old. We have a couple of dog beds available (on request) although they are more suited to medium size dogs.

There is an enclosed garden in front of the house - part gravel, part grass, a large lawn (partially fenced) and a separate stock fenced paddock (about 3 acres).

For further details see our pet friendly terms.

There is no shortage of dog friendly beaches in and around Bude.  The town beaches have restrictions certain time of day or time of year whereas Northcott and Sandymouth are restriction free.

Bude has very few pubs or restaurants that DON'T take dogs!

Donkeys

We have twelve donkeys, all shapes and sizes!!

If you would like to meet them or maybe help with grooming, please let us know - they are all very friendly and love the attention.

Don't Miss Out!
