One of the advantages of a Georgian house is that the rooms are a good size, generally square and the ceilings are high, giving that feeling of space and light. Trevalgas Farm is no exception.  The grounds and garden are predominantly to the front of the house - ideal as this is south facing with beautiful countryside views.

Both are south facing and overlooking the gardens with views of the countryside beyond. One has a cosy vibe complete with the working wood burner for those chilly evenings.  There is also a TV, DVD player and a BOSE speaker to listen to your favourite music.  The other lounge has the large wall-mounted flat screen smart TV, perfect for family viewing. There are a selection of books, games and dvds. There is even a piano although we can't guarantee its in tune!!

The kitchen/diner has ample space for everyone dining together and the central island helps makes meal preparations a social event. Equipped with an electric modern range-style cooker, large fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.  The cupboards are packed with all the crockery, pots and pans needed together with iron/ironing board, airers even the children's' play kitchen in the corner! The elephant in the room is the old AGA, we fully intended to have this working but sad to say, we have had to be content with a very expensive ornament.....there is a story behind this....we live and learn!!  We supply tea towels, cloths, dustbin liners, clingfilm, tinfoil, washing up liquid and a few dishwasher and laundry tablets to get you going. To help settle you in, you will find milk in the fridge with tea and coffee and a few biscuits (the homemade cake is on hold at the moment due to covid!)

The downstairs bedroom which was formally the kitchen when the house was built, now has a brass king size bed complete with a large ensuite shower room. This room is popular with the grandparents as its away from the grandchildren upstairs - and these old houses have thick walls!!

There is an additional wc in the downstairs hallway at the foot of the stairs.

There are four further bedrooms. The master (king size bed), the double and one twin are all facing south and overlook the garden and have wonderful views over the countryside and far reaching sea views. There is an additional twin at the back of the house - when the weather is hot this one is the coolest.

The family bathroom is next door to the master bedroom and features a roll top bath with shower, wc and separate shower cubicle.

There is an additional shower room & wc next door to the double room.

The wood burner provides heat and that cosy feel for those chilly evenings. We include the first basket of logs and if you require more, the charge is £5 per basket including kindling wood.  The house also has oil fired central heating with thermostatic controlled radiators in each room - these are pre timed to come on dependant upon your requirements, the time of year and the weather conditions.

We provide white bath and hand towels. (the towels must not be used in the garden, on the beach or for wiping the mud off the dog!)

Each bathroom will have anti bacterial hand wash along with shower gel.

We have one cot which is suitable for a baby under 2 yrs of age and 2 high chairs.  We also have a baby bath, child toilet seat, step and potty - just let us know if you would like to borrow them.  Please note that cot bedding is not provided.

The house is situated at the end of a long a drive, well off the road and with ample parking for 4 cars. In front of the house there is a enclosed fenced area with a gate leading down a few steps on to the main lawn.  The previous owner of the house had this large flat lawn constructed especially for a marquis for their daughter's wedding - its perfect for ball games or just letting off steam after the long drive! The children usually find the box of balls and outdoor games and for the little ones, we have a Wendy house (on request).  The over sized sequoia wood table and benches together with the Weber charcoal BBQ are ideal for dining al fresco with views of the rolling Cornish countryside.

We accept 2 dogs (more by prior arrangement) The charge is £20 per dog. Unfortunately we do not accept dogs under 6 months old.   We have a couple of dog beds available to use although they are more suited to medium size dogs.  There is a gravelled enclosed area outside the house, a large lawn (partially fenced) and a separate stock fenced paddock (about 3 acres).  For further details see our pet friendly terms.  There is no shortage of dog friendly beaches in and around Bude.  The town beaches have restrictions certain time of day or time of year whereas Northcott and Sandymouth are restriction free.  Bude has very few pubs or restaurants that DON'T take dogs!

We have six of them, all shapes and sizes!!  If you would like to meet them or maybe help with grooming, please let us know - they are all very friendly and love the attention.
